For a half-term that is only 6 weeks long, this is a lot of work and includes lots of new projects and work that has been freshly planned especially for this term. I really hope that you will all be able to join us at our upcoming events, our Commissioning Service and our Coffee morning, to hear about how our Mission is extending and moving forward this year.
“Mission” is a key word for us this coming half term. As we Commission 3 of our workers on the 10th of March – Jen, Sarah, and Trudi – our thoughts naturally turn to the mission God has given us to serve the schools of Stockport. These individuals have already given so much of themselves and their talents to that mission. We would be so grateful if our supporters could come out and honour the mission and their dedication to it by attending the service. We are also thinking about our extended Mission as we begin to develop our Volunteer Mission. We will be talking more about this at the Coffee Morning, but if you are passionate about schools work, have experience in the field and have some time to give to our work then we want to hear from you! Come along to our Coffee Morning on the 12th of March at 10am! We are so excited to be expanding our team in this way, and can’t wait to tell you all about it!
Coffee morning details: Tuesday 12th March 10am, Our offices at 99 Chatham Street, SK39EG
Commissiong Service details: Sunday 10th March 6:30pm, St George’s Church Poynton, SK12 1NH
We look forward to seeing you at these upcoming events,
Emma and the team.
