Christians in Schools Trust is a local charity partnered with Scripture Union in teaching children about Christianity. Research shows 95% of children have never been to church. Church is no longer in the background of their family life or their communities. Christians in Schools Trust workers are addressing this mainly through R.E lessons, assemblies and seasonal projects.

The aim of Christians in Schools Trust is to provide an understanding of the meaning of Christianity in interesting, relevant and age-appropriate ways. Through the RE lessons, assemblies and projects offered, the children have the opportunity to meet people for whom the Christian faith is a real and integral part of their lives. Check out our projects by looking at our SCHOOLS page.

OUR MISSION at Christians In Schools Trust is to:

          i) Share the relevance of the Christian faith with young people.

ii) Support excellence in Religious Education, assemblies and schools’ work.

iii) Partner with Christian communities in providing
opportunities for children and young people to explore
the Christian faith.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believes in him shall not die but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

The Basis of Faith of Christians in Schools Trust is that:

There is one true God who lives eternally in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

God is the Creator of all and the Father of all who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.

We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and God; as truly human, born of the Virgin Mary, without sin, full of grace and truth.

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, who died and rose again. He is the Redeemer of the world and the one mediator, through faith, in whom alone we obtain forgiveness of sins.

The Lord Jesus Christ will return personally in and glory and judgement to establish His kingdom.

The Old and New Testament are the inspired Word of God, fully trustworthy in all that they affirm for faith and life.
