What’s coming up…

Hi everyone! As we come towards half term, we are gearing up here at Christians in Schools Trust for our “It’s Your Move!” project. We already have several bookings in place and more are rolling in! As we prepare our material we are also encouraging our supporting churches to prepare too – either by supporting us physically by joining us as we deliver the sessions, or by supporting us in prayer as we go into schools. Keep an eye out for updates in your inbox or from your church leader about when an “It’s Your Move!” project is happening in your community. At the moment you can be praying specifically that schools who have previously never had “It’s Your Move!” accept the project, and that myself and Linda can continue to make strong connections with churches and schools. You can also pray for funding so that the expenditure for the cost of the books can be covered. We want to cover the project with prayer!

Speaking of prayer, we have a prayer meeting upcoming on 11th of June, at 10am, at Stockport Baptist Church. This is going to be a prayer meeting where we meet together and use prayer stations and other creative aids to inspire us and encourage us. We will really be digging into the things that Christians in Schools Trust is thankful for and seeking God’s will over, as well as praying for the schools of Stockport. As our supporters we would love to see you there and spend some time together with you in the presence of God. There will also be some refreshments and a chance to catch up! I will personally be there, so if you have any questions for me or the trustees this will be a good chance to ask them!

On a more personal note, I have a prayer request concerning my transport. I am looking to buy a car as soon as possible, and looking for a reliable seller. The seller I had previously lined up has fallen through and left me in a bit of a jam. I would appreciate your prayers looking for a new vehicle, and also if you happen to know anyone who might be selling a vehicle to get in touch with me at emma.hinds@www.cist.org.uk.

Thank you!
