Who shall I pray for?

The Children

Adopt a school, pray for it and make it yours.
It may be your children's, grandchildren's or neighbours children's school or simply near your home.
You may pass it on the way to work.: Pray for all the children in the school.

Individuals matter

Jesus called Zacchaeus. God spoke to Moses by name.
Remember all the school staff.: Pray for them by name.

Teachers

Stress and pressure are increasing for all in schools. Legal requirements demand more than just being with the children. Planning and reporting; marking and tutoring; phoning and liaising; counselling and consoling; training and travelling.: Ask God to give teachers strength to cope, to care and to be creative, and to see teaching as a calling and not just a job.

The Head

This is a key role in decision making and management.: Pray for wisdom and discernment, health and strength, authority and respect.

Governors

It is hard to find those who will give freely of their time to learn and carry out this accountable role.: Pray for right attitude, conscientious support and sensitive involvement.

Parents

The PRIME educators.
Children learn by living with them.
Attitudes are caught.: Pray for peace in the home.
