Because it works! Not like a magic charm but true intercessory prayer is a cry from the heart on behalf of someone else and God honours that prayer.
In the case of schools, the 'someone else' is children or young people.
They are our future, our hope and our treasure and beloved by God. Jesus took them in his arms and blessed them and told his disciples to let the children come to him.
