Assessment - Christian Values
Through oral or written work, children could demonstrate their ability to:
- explain how many of the values expressed in the Beatitudes are shared by other religious traditions, e.g. Buddhism, Judaism, Islam (AT1, 5a)
- explain how the practice of forgiveness made a difference to the life of an individual Christian (AT1, 5b)
- discuss in an informed manner their understanding of the term 'happiness' (AT2, 5a)
- discuss in an informed manner how happiness is best achieved (AT2, 5b)
- respond in an informed manner to the values expressed in the Beatitudes (AT2, 5c)
