To consider the concept of happiness
Begin by informing the children that this half term they are going to be thinking about 'happiness'.

Lesson

Discuss the things which makes them happy.

Activity

Following discussion, groups of children could:

• draw / write about the things which make them happy.
• make a bar chart / graph of the different responses to the question.
• write an acrostic on the word HAPPINESS.
• interview different adults in the school about what makes them happy.
