Assessment - Easter

Through oral or written work, children could demonstrate their ability to:

• recount outline of some of the stories associated with Easter (AT1, 1a)
• recognize different features of the Christian celebration of Easter (AT1, 1b)
• recognize some symbols associated with Easter - egg, cross, candle (AT1, 1c)

• talk about their own experiences (AT2, 1a)
• talk about the mystery of the Resurrection (AT2, 1b)
• talk about rights and wrongs within the Easter narrative (AT2, 1c)
