Who can I help?
Aims
To become aware of ways in which they can help other people.
To become familiar with the parable of the Good Samaritan.
To raise awareness of Stranger Danger.
Lesson
Thus far, the children have been considering those who help them. In this final lesson, it may be worthwhile to consider the people whom the children can help.
Talk / write about times when they have helped others. Who did they help? How did they help them?
Is it possible to help God? Some people believe that wants us to help him to help others. Refer to the stories from the previous lessons.
Are there any people whom they would like to help? This could lead to a small-scale charitable project.
What about people whom they would not help?
Conclude lesson by sharing with children the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10: 30-37)
