	Aim To continue to develop children's understanding of friendship. To become familiar with the story of the friendship between David and Jonathan. Lesson Begin by discussing the topic of friends. Who are the children‘s friends? Why are these people their friends? How do their friends help them? Role play a number of situations in which volunteers are required to act as 'good friends'. The Bible is full of stories about friends. Share with children the story of the friendship between David and Jonathan. (1 Samuel 18-20)
