Aim
To begin to set targets for the coming year.
Lesson
Review what was taught in the previous lesson about the children's abilities. Are there any things which they can't do now but would like to do. Discuss.
Ask children to choose one/several of those things to work at for the future. (Ensure that the skill/s relate to the age of the child). Children to complete 'I Will' leaf / leaves on the tree worksheet.
Discuss with children the people who can help them to accomplish their desired skill.
In the Bible, people in such circumstances, ask God to help them. Share with children the story of Gideon (Judges 6-7) or the Fall of Jericho (Joshua 6)
