All text pages are identified uniquely with a six character reference which also forms the base for the file name. Index pages are not included directly in this scheme.
First letter
Defines the main subject group of the page.
- A - Year 1
- B - Year 2
- C - Year 3
- D - Year 4
- E - Year 5
- F - Year 6
- L - Additional Lessons
- O - Other Resources
- P - Preliminary Material
- Q - Assessment Material
- R - Reception year
- S - Stockport 2004 additional lessons Foundation and Key Stage 1
- T - Stockport 2004 additional lessons Key Stage 2

Second letter
Defines the type of page
- A - Answer Sheet (suggested solutions for a corresponding worksheet)
- F - PDF format sheet (for downloading and printing at high quality)
- G - General Notes
- L - Lesson Outline
- N - Lesson Notes (and other introductory lesson material)
- P - Plan or Overview
- Q - Assessment Guidelines
- R - Resource Sheet
- W - Work Sheet
Serial Number
A four digit number which is used to identify individual pages uniquely. The numbers are allocated in blocks which divide up the year, lessons and pages.
Issue Date
All pages have a unique issue date. This is updated whenever a significant change is made to the page.
Status List
A full list of all pages and their current issue state and date of issue is maintained as part of the resource. It is located in the Indexes section. Recent changes are listed on the latest changes page.
