Matthew and the Prophets
Matthew wanted to show his readers that Jesus was the Messiah predicted by the Old Testament Prophets. In the first two chapters of his gospel, he quotes five Old Testament prophecies. Write each of these in the first column. Then answer the questions in columns 2 and 3. The first prophecy has been done for you.
