To explore drama as an act of worship.

Lesson

Begin by reviewing the work which was done in the previous lesson. Inform children that another important form of worship for Christians is drama. Many Christians and others have made films and written plays about Jesus.

Share with children an appropriate excerpt from the video of Jesus of Nazareth or the Jesus Video.

Activity

Following discussion, groups of children could:

• read about the Passion play at Oberammergau.
• explore through role play the story of Peter's betrayal.
