Now Christ our Passover is slain
The lamb of God without a stain;
His flesh, the true unleavened bread,
For us is freely offered.

Where the Passover blood is poured,
Death's dark angel sheaths his sword;
Israel's hosts triumphant go
Through the wave that drowns the foe.

Praise you Jesus, whose Blood was shed,
Passover Victim, Passover Bread;
With sincerity and love
Eat we manna from above.

Now lives the Lamb of God,
our Passover, the Christ,
who once with nails and wood
for us was sacrificed.

The next day John the Baptist saw Jesus coming toward him. John said,
'Look, the Lamb of God. He takes away the sins of the world!'
