Answers for the worksheet.

There are many reasons why God should not have chosen Moses to lead the Jews out of slavery. Write why you think these reasons could have been problems.

His upbringing Moses was brought up within the Egyptian royal family. He would have had divided loyalties.
His temper Moses' bad temper led him to kill the Egyptian slave driver. A good leader stays calm.
His cowardice Moses did not stay in Egypt to face up to his crime.
(He also ran away when God changed his staff into a snake.)
His age Moses was an old man when God appeared to him in the burning bush.
His speech Moses had a speech impediment.
His brother God should have chosen Aaron. He wasn't a murderer and could speak 'properly'.
His unwillingness Moses did not really want to take on the job. He tried to get out of it.
