The person
who has no favourites,
who is a friend to all beings great and small,
who is full of compassion,
who claims nothing as his own,
who is not big headed, unmoved by pleasure or pain,
who is kind, always contented,
who is always in tune with Brahman,
who is master of his mind,
who is determined, the same in happiness or distress,
who considers a lump of earth, a stone and a nugget of gold to be worth
the same,
who is not changed by a telling off or a well done stamp,
who doesn't get annoyed with the world, nor gets the world annoyed
with him,
who doesn't get overexcited through joy, anger, or fear;
this person is my true follower and is very dear to me.
