Aim

To become familiar with the story of Paul's conversion.

Lesson

Begin by revising what was taught in the previous lesson about Stephen. At the end of the story, there was a reference to a man called Saul. Saul was to become a very important person in the new Christian religion. Saul is better known by the Greek version of his name, Paul.

Share with children the first part of the story of Paul.

Activity

Following discussion, groups of children could:

• act out the story
• write about a big change which has occurred in their lives
• interview Paul / one of his fellow travellers / Ananias
• interview a Christian visitor about his / her conversion
