Happy Easter everyone!
This is just a quick update before the reflection and celebration of Easter weekend. Here at CiST we have been working hard in the run up to Holy week and Easter Sunday: Linda has been tireless in her efforts to bring the message of Easter to children across Stockport and her Easter assembly/lesson has been a rousing success! Children have been baffled by the unexpected reality of a chocolate covered real egg, and teachers have responded wonderfully to the Random Acts of Kindness Jar that Linda has been leaving with them. Hopefully the themes of Easter and the importance of demonstrating acts of love and kindness to our friends will linger in these schools as they use their jars in their classrooms.
We are already looking forward to our new project for the next term. In June and July we will be delivering “It’s Your Move!” in schools around Stockport. Linda and I will be developing and delivering the project together, and we hope to reach our target of 33 schools! If you would like to support us in our work for “It’s Your Move!” by donating towards the purchase of some of the “It’s Your Move!” books, please contact us. If you are connected with a school and think that “It’s Your Move!” might be a good resource for your Y6 class, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. You can read more about “It’s Your Move!” here.
Thanks for all your support this term, and we hope and pray that you have a blessed Easter with friends and family.
