Thank you for the rain, Lord
Falling from the sky,
Washing dirty pavements
Watering gardens dry;
Shining on the rooftops
Splashing down the drain,
You are Lord of everything
We praise you again.
Thank you for the storm, Lord
Thunder crashing loud;
Thank you when the lightning
leaps from sky to ground;
Thank you for the power
in wind and driving rain,
You are Lord of everything
We praise you again.
When there's too much rain, Lord
Falling from the sky
Everything turns grey Lord,
Rivers start to rise,
When the land is flooded,
Hear your people cry
Help us help each other,
Until the land is dry.
Thank you for the rainbow
Sunshine through the rain
Thank you for the beauty,
Colour in the grey;
Though the weather changes,
Always you're the same,
You are Lord of everything
We praise you again.
